It's possible static discharge killed my cable. A couple of times when I've grabbed my guitar off the stand, I've gotten an ESD shock. The next logical guess would be the cable itself but, while I'm not ruling that out, I don't really believe that is the culprit for a couple of reasons. According to the logs, it doesn't appear that Windows has installed some new USB driver that I'm not aware of so, I don't think anything has changed there. Since the issue arose I haven't been able to get it to work on either. I've gotten it to work with both USB 2 & 3 in the past but, 2.0 has always been more reliable so, that's the one I use.
